Positives
A positive about the Kenmore 6-slice Convection Toaster Oven is the control dial are simple and efficient to operate. There is an option for warm, broil, bake, toast and pizza. The toast and pizza options are especially helpful since it automatically cooks those without needing additional inputs such as the temperature or timer dial. The oven goes up to 450 degrees and the timer goes to 60 minutes.
Negative
It circulates warm air that results in an oven that is hotter then indicated. Its very easy to burn food easily due to its rapid cook time. This doesn’t seem like a bad thing except the metal used is cheap and is prone to damage eventually destroying the toaster itself. The door also doesn’t lay down flat so when you need to take food out of the oven the process is more awkward then it should be due to the door being hot. Another problem is that the 6-slice Convection Toaster Oven has been to stop working all of a sudden. This problem is not covered under warranty so be wary if you’re thinking of purchasing this toaster
Summary
While the Kenmore 6-slice Convection Toaster Oven tries to succeed it unfortunately fails due to design issues and flaws that weren’t ironed out. The metal used is too cheap and eventually damages the toaster while too much heat is used so burning your food is a common occurrence here. The only positives with the 6 slice are that fact that the control dial is easy to operate. Sadly that’s one of the few things Kenmore got right with this toaster. This is one that should be skipped by everyone
