Positives
There are four wide toasting slots with the Frigidaire Stainless 4-Slice basically being two toasters in one. It has a nice stainless steel surface, nice wide toaster slots, nice digital darkness display with seven settings, pretty LCD screen when toasting, and a countdown timer. There’s no need to wait till the toaster cools down before being able to toast again and get the same browning as the previous toast. The toasting is smooth and efficient and works great on both sides. The same is true for the defroast, reheat and bagel features. The crumb trey is placed in the front making it easy to clean up without needing to turn the toaster around to clean the crumbs
Complaints
The Frigidaire Stainless 4-Slice Wide Slots is known to have longer then normal toasting times which may or may not be a problem depending on how long you’re willing to wait. It can be difficult to see the tiny 1/2 inch black function buttons grouped together on a black panel. Some people have complained about the 4-slice dying on them suddenly usually after a year of use. However there is a warranty that should be used if this happens to you.
Summary
The Frigidaire Stainless 4-Slice Wide Slots is an excellent toaster that works great with many features for a low price. It combines modern features such as LCD display and push levers but keeps the design simple and sleek with its stainless steel finish. Some complaints such as the toaster dying should be fixed under warranty as that is not a common issue with most customers. We highly recommend the Frigidaire Stainless 4-Slice Wide Slots to everyone looking for a great toaster.
