Positives

A great feature of the Frigidaire 6-Slice Infared Convection Toaster Oven is its ability to hold six slices of toast or a pizza up to 12 inches. It works as a great alternative to using the six slice for smaller foods instead of using an oven. We found the cooking and baking to be consistent and never had any problems with unevenly toasted bread. The infrared convection cooking eliminated the need to pre-heat the oven to the right temperature with its fast  heating up and cooking speed. With the easy view window you can check the progress of your food as it cooks. The LCD countdown timer lets you knows exactly how much time is left.

Complaints

The biggest reported problems with the the Frigidaire 6-Slice is it suddenly breaking down. For some customers it stopped working after several years and for others it gave in after only a few months. There is a warranty for one year however how much Frigidaire will help you depends on the error code the toaster gives on the screen. If its error code of “E02” then the toaster is unusable and cannot be returned. The timer can’t be adjusted once the oven is on, so the only way to adjust time is to cancel the cooking.

Summary

The Frigidaire 6-Slice Infared Convection Toaster Oven would’ve been a top recommended toaster oven with its infrared convection cooking, consistent cooking and being able to hold up to six slices of bread or a pizza up to 12 inches. What holds the Frigidaire 6-Slice back is the problem of it breaking down for multiple customers after only a few uses. If it this problem didn’t exist then we would recommend the six slice to everyone but in its current state we can’t.
