Dualit is a well known British manufacturer of home goods and they are known for their high quality toaster brand of the same name. They are known for popularizing the signature classic toaster look with their Dualit Classic Toaster which hit its peek in the 1990’s and a symbol of kitchen porn in the 90’s. The reason for their popularity is because of Dualit’s patented Proheat armor which protects the toaster from damage and building the toasters by hand so that they would be easy to take apart and repair.

A quality toaster worthy of the dualit name. This toaster has 1200 wattage for quick toasting with neon lights that glows during the toasting process or flashes when toasting buns. The high lift mechanism makes it easy to remove small items. It also allows you to check progress by lifting up the handle without stopping the toasting process. The only problem I found with the Soft touch is the blackplastic started to crack off from the metal portion and is not covered under warranty. Overall the toaster is solid with the only problem being not secured enough but not everyone has experienced that problem.

Dualit Classic 2-Slice Toaster(Click for full Review)
The 2-Slice Toaster is known for its award winning proheat element that increases toasting efficiency and longevity. It comes with additional elements such as a defroast option and an ejector system that keeps toast warm until ejector lever is pulled up. It also has a nice metal touch finish to give it a sleek look. Out of all the Dualits I found this to be the most consistent in terms of even toasting which should be expected given its price point. This is a very solid toaster that won’t disappoint you. For its price point its on the expensive side but if you’ve been having problems with other toasters then you should look into this one as most common toaster problems eliminated with this one.

Dualit 4-Slice Toaster(Click for full Review)
A larger toaster that comes with four 28 mm slots that toast using the proheat element. All parts can be easily cleaned and includes a removable crumb trey to make cleaning quick and easy. The outer layer is coated with a stainless steel body with an ABS covering and slim design. It is also compatible with a sandwich cage which is sold separately. As a Dualit toaster i was disappointed by the 4-slice because It broke after only a few months and I’m not the only one who’s had this problem which considering its $300 price point is a large disappointment. It also did not toast as evenly as it should of considering its price while not everyone has had these problems its worth taking note of if you’re interested in this toaster.

The Dualit Sandwich Cage is a construction made for toasting sandwiches for a perfect grilled cheese or BLT. This stainless steel finish can fit one sandwich and measures 12 by 6 by 1-3/4 inches. It has a built in drip trey that catches any oil or cheese that manage to fall while toasting. For those who like grilled cheese this is an easy and fast way to make them. The sandwich cage and toaster do their job to really simplify the process of making a grilled cheese. One flaw that customers have noted with the sandwich cage is that normal bread can’t fit in the toaster with the cage. Thinner slices work fine but normal sized bread only works if you don’t put too much on your sandwich. For those who like grilled cheese and would like a simpler way of making them then the Dualit Sandwich Cage is well recommended.

The Dualit warming rack is a wide 28mm rack that is suppose to accommodate a sandwich cage and is useful for warming food up without needing them to be put in the toaster. It’s one part only so its very simple to use and can be used with any classic and new gen Dualit toaster giving it a nice versatility with any Dualit toasters. The warming rack is great for reheating foods like pizza, croissants, and pastries and another great feature being the rack can keep food warm for you. The warming rack is a great accessory for any Dualit toaster. It is simple but has great functionality that anyone looking to get a little extra out of their toasters should look into to.
