One of the better features with the Dualit Lite Soft Touch 2-Slice is its peek and pop feature. This allows you to pop up your toast without cancelling the timer to check if it’s toasted enough for you. If not the Lite Soft can easily resume toasting from where it left off. There’s a nice neon light that glows when toasting bread or flashes when toasting buns. The toasting is even and efficient because of the high wattage and comes with eight toasting settings. The slots are wider then normal to accompany breads of different sizes. The design is sleek and unique with the Dualit name engraved across it.
Many have complained of uneven toasting depending on which type of bread they used to toast. The metal frame attached to the black plastic has also been known to crack off and this is not covered under warranty so beware that this could happen but it’s not a common problem with most people who bought the Lite Soft Touch. The metal portion also gets hot when toasting and you can easily burn yourself if you’re not careful.
The Dualit 25375 Lite Soft Touch 2-Slice toaster is a great toaster with a many great features such as its peek and pop and a unique design that makes it stand out from other toasters with the Dualit name engraved in large letters across it. The downside of the Lite Soft Touch is the design not being secure enough and cracking apart with several cases of this happening. There have also been cases of uneven toasting depending on the type of bread used. The Dualit Lite Soft Touch 2-Slice is a solid toaster with the possibility of having some big problems.
