Positives
With its stainless steel finish the 4-slice smart oven will look great in any kitchen and with its reduced size it saves on counter space. The 4-slice looks similar to the BOV800XL model with the main difference being the 4-slices smaller size for those who thought the BOV800XL model was too large. The 4-slice is extremely well made and is built to last with the glass door giving a nice view of the cooking while not being too hot to touch. The IQ element lets the 4-slice heat up evenly and efficiently and gives it an edge over other toasters.
Complaints
Some of the complaints of the 4-slice is the lack of an interior light and some customers noted that some toasters randomly stopped working however this was a rare problem. Otherwise there are not many complaints against the 4-slice.

Another great toaster from Breville that you can’t go wrong with having. We believe the Compact 4-Slice Smart Oven to be one of the best toasters on the market along with the larger BOV800XL model. Highly recommended and worth its price point.
